This Privacy Policy explains how Havyn Pro (“Havyn,” “we,” “us”), a service operated by Daedelix Inc., collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Havyn Pro mobile and web applications and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information — name, email address and/or mobile phone number, and a password you create (phone sign-in uses one-time text codes instead).
- Account type & profile — whether you are a property manager, service professional (“pro”), or homeowner, plus business or trade details you add.
- Property & job information — properties, units, addresses, entry/access details you choose to save, and the maintenance requests, descriptions, photos, videos, and voice notes you submit.
- Communications — messages you exchange through the Service (including AI-assisted chat) and support requests.
Information collected automatically
- Device & log data — the browser or app identifier (user agent) of each signed-in session, used to warn you about sign-ins from new devices; IP addresses, used for security rate limiting and recorded with text-message consent; and server logs kept for operations and troubleshooting.
- Push tokens — if you enable notifications, a device token used to deliver them.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; Stripe handles card data under its own privacy policy. We retain limited records such as amount, status, and payout information needed to operate the marketplace.
2. How we use your information
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service and match maintenance requests to pros.
- Facilitate communication, scheduling, quoting, and payments between users.
- Send transactional messages (e.g., job updates, verification, and receipts) by email, SMS, or push.
- Provide AI-assisted features that help describe, route, and coordinate jobs.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Service:
- Between users — to coordinate a job, relevant details are shared between the requester and the matched pro.
- Service providers — these process data on our behalf to run the Service:
- Amazon Web Services — hosting and database, storage of photos/videos/voice notes (S3), voice-note transcription (Amazon Transcribe), and email delivery (Amazon SES).
- Anthropic — the AI model behind Havyn's assistant features: request and message text, voice-note transcripts, and photos (and still frames from videos) you submit are sent to Anthropic to understand, route, and coordinate jobs.
- Google — address autocomplete (Google Places; the text you type into an address field), Firebase Cloud Messaging (delivering push notifications on Android), and Google Fonts (typefaces on the web app).
- Apple — Apple Push Notification service (delivering push notifications on iOS).
- Twilio — text messages and phone verification codes (your phone number and the message).
- Stripe — card payments and pro payouts (Stripe Connect), including identity verification of pros, under Stripe's privacy policy.
- Guesty — only if you connect your Guesty account: we import listings and reservations (including guest names and stay dates) to schedule turnover work.
- Legal — when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
4. Data retention & account deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings or Profile → Delete account) or on the web at app.havynpro.com/delete-account. Deletion takes effect immediately:
- Deleted — your name, email address, phone number, password, sign-in links and codes, sessions on every device, push tokens, notifications, and linked sign-in identities; team invitations and preferred-pro invitations other businesses sent to your email or phone; and your address in our invitation-email log. If you are the only member of your business account, that account is closed too: connected integrations and their stored credentials are deleted first, then open requests are cancelled (releasing any card hold) and open quotes and leads are withdrawn, and saved property access codes, imported Guesty reservations (guest names are also removed from the turnover requests created from them), properties that were never used for a job, team invites, your preferred-pro list, and your business profile are deleted. Your saved card is deleted at Stripe, and your Stripe Connect payout account is deleted at Stripe when no money has moved through it; if Stripe can't be reached, we keep retrying automatically.
- Kept, de-identified — records of jobs, payments, payouts, and ratings, which other users and our accounting and tax obligations depend on, and messages you sent in job conversations. Your name is replaced with “Deleted user” everywhere these appear. Properties used for a job keep their address (without access codes) with those job records, and job photos stay with them.
- Kept for compliance — proof of your text-message consent or opt-out (phone number, time, and the wording you agreed to; no longer linked to you, and an opt-out is recorded so we stop texting that number), and text-message delivery logs (phone number, time, and type — never message contents), used for telecom compliance and fraud prevention.
- Kept by our providers — Stripe keeps its own payment, payout, and identity-verification records under its policy; a payout account that has received money stays at Stripe so refunds and disputes can be settled. Server logs and backups age out on our hosting provider's normal schedule.
If other people remain on your business account, you simply leave it: requests you opened that haven't been booked yet are cancelled, booked jobs stay with your team, and jobs assigned to you go back to unassigned. If you are the only admin of a business account that has other members, make one of them an admin first. A job that is underway or awaiting payment must be finished or cancelled before its account can be closed.
5. Your choices & rights
- Correct your name and contact details in the app's settings, or access them by contacting us.
- Delete your account yourself in the app or at app.havynpro.com/delete-account (see section 4). If you can't sign in, use the request form on that page or email us; we will confirm the request with the account's own email or phone, then delete the account for you in the same way.
- Opt out of non-essential notifications in your device settings.
- Depending on your location (e.g., California/CCPA or the EEA/UK GDPR), you may have additional rights to access, port, or delete your data and to object to certain processing.
